ohhh myWho's late on the bandwagonSo, it's my first time in Secret Pal and I'd say I had a lot of fun doing it. I got to snoop around journals and read surveys to find clues about what I should get my pal. I'm sure my own pal did her share of spy work, too, since all the gifts I got were amazing. I received paid patterns for a shawl I've really been wanting to make, as well as some great Fleece Artist in my favourite blue. Among the non knitting goodies she sent me wonderful things like a burnt cd, stationery, custom made magnets, coffee-scented soap, kaluha-coffee lip balm, and a bead kit. AND MY FAVOURITE TEA, which isn't sold in stores in my area.Apologies for being so slow in thanks (although I've emailed my pal many times during the swaps to let her know where I'd be), I'm overseas with really shotty internet. When the swap started, I was in Japan, and then I was home for a month, and now I'm on a tour of Asia again, going through Taiwan, Philippines, Singapore, and Thailand. I've been knitting with my Fleece Artist this last leg of my trip! Thanks a lot, pal. And thanks to the mods for coordinating all of this, it's been an awesome experience.
Hi!!! Hope you're having a wicked time in Asia (me jealous of you!)So what are you making with the fleece artist?
hahha well, actually, right now I'm REALLY SICK. That's the only reason I'm sitting anywhere long enough to use the internet, heheh. It appears that I've eaten some VERY BAD FOOD. Other than that, the trip's been really enjoyable though.I'm making a really long scarf out of the fleece artist.(I am a chronic scarf wearer)
